Content Session · Idea Book
Five minutes of reading. Then you’re ready.
You don’t need to plan this. Skim the ideas below, notice what you’d actually say yes to, and bring that to our call. I’ll take it from there.
What’s on you — and what isn’t.
This is designed to take very little of your time. Here’s the whole split.
You
- A 10-minute call the first month
- A 2-minute check-in after that
- A quick read of your scripts
- Choosing what you’ll wear
- One hour in the studio
Me
- Scripts built from your own words
- Directing you through every take
- Editing, captions and vertical formats
- Photo posts, ready to share
- A suggested posting order
What to talk about
Your best topics are questions you already answer every week.
You don’t need to be clever. If clients ask it, other people are wondering it too. Pick three that sound like you.
- The question you get asked most
- The thing people get wrong about what you do
- What you wish people knew before they called you
- A mistake you see over and over — and how to avoid it
- “Is it worth it?” — your honest answer
- What actually happens when someone works with you
- A quick tip someone can use today
- Something happening in Denver right now that affects your clients
- Why you do this work
- A recent win (without names) and what made it work
Ideas for real estate
- “Should I sell now or wait?”
- The three things buyers notice first when they walk in
- What a pre-approval actually means — and doesn’t
- A neighborhood you love and who it’s right for
- What to fix before listing (and what not to bother with)
- What’s really happening in the Denver market this month
Ideas for wellness, bodywork & health practices
- The most common cause of the pain you treat
- One stretch or habit people can start today
- What a first visit actually looks like
- When to see someone — and when it can wait
- A myth you hear all the time
- What clients notice after a few sessions
Ideas for advisors, consultants & coaches
- The question you wish more clients asked
- A decision people usually make too late
- What working with you actually involves
- A common piece of advice you disagree with
- How to tell if someone needs help like yours
- One thing to do this month
Video styles
Six simple formats. All of them work.
Every video is short — 30 to 60 seconds. Each topic fits one of these, and I’ll match them for you.
The straight answer
A common question, answered plainly to camera.
“Here’s what I tell everyone who asks…”
Myth vs. fact
What people believe, and what’s actually true.
“You’ve probably heard… Here’s the reality.”
Three quick things
A short list people can save and come back to.
“Three things to do before you…”
The mistake
Something you see go wrong, and how to avoid it.
“The biggest mistake I see is…”
Behind the scenes
What it’s really like to work with you.
“Here’s what actually happens when…”
Why I do this
The personal one. Usually the one people remember.
“I got into this because…”
Where we shoot
Most sessions happen at the studio. It doesn’t look like one.
Sessions take place at my downtown Denver studio, which has more than one look built in — so a single hour can feel like several places.
Clean studio
A simple backdrop. Polished, direct, easy to put text over. Great for straight answers and tips.
Lived-in setting
A real room with real furniture and light. Warmer and more conversational — like you’re talking across a table.
Just outside
Street and city texture, a few steps from the door. Good for walk-and-talk videos and relaxed photos.
Want to shoot at a listing, your office or your practice instead? That can work — ask when we book and I’ll confirm the details.
What to wear
Wear what you feel good in.
You know your style — the goal is for you to look like you. If you’d like a second opinion, bring an extra outfit or two and we’ll decide together on the day. Or text me photos of a few options beforehand at 720-296-2737 and I’ll tell you what will work best on camera.
Bring
- Clothes that fit well through the shoulders
- Solid colors and simple textures
- One “how clients usually see you” outfit
- One a step dressier or a step more relaxed
- A layer — a jacket, blazer or cardigan changes a look fast
Skip
- Busy patterns and thin stripes (they flicker on video)
- Big logos or text
- Anything you keep adjusting
- Brand-new shoes you haven’t walked in
- Noisy jewelry — the mic hears it
Arrive camera-ready: hair and makeup the way you’d wear them to an important meeting. If you’d like a professional, I can connect you with people I trust.
That’s it.
Notice what you’d say yes to, bring it to our call, and I’ll handle the rest. If a question comes up before then, just send me a note.
