Not the idea of people. Not the polished, posed, stiff version. The real version — the one that shows up when someone relaxes, laughs, or just forgets the camera is there for a second.

I'm Matt Draper. I've been making portraits for over 15 years — in studios, on streets, in vintage shops, in whatever space feels right for the person in front of me. My work tends toward the editorial. I like variety, spontaneity, and images that feel like they belong in a magazine rather than on a wall.

I shoot actors, musicians, artists, creatives, and anyone with an interesting face and the willingness to spend an hour exploring.
