Both are fully directed sessions with a same-day private proof gallery and finals within 48 hours. The Professional adds a second look — a formal image for a company site or press, and a relaxed one for LinkedIn or a personal brand — so one photo isn't doing every job. Additional retouched images beyond what's included are $50 each.

A Professional Headshot Session covers one or two looks, built for LinkedIn, a company website, or a speaker bio. Personal Branding adds multiple outfits, settings, and a larger image library for ongoing marketing — collections start at $750. Team Headshots are planned around a consistent look for an entire organization and priced per person.

No. Arrive looking the way you would for an important professional meeting — get a good night's sleep, and schedule any haircuts, color, or grooming a few days ahead rather than the day of.

Solid colors and simple textures photograph best — avoid large logos or busy patterns. Bring two or three options and we'll choose the strongest together before shooting, whether you've booked one look or two.

The Essential runs about 30 minutes and The Professional about 45, at Draper Studios, 816 Acoma Street in Downtown Denver. Both are photographed indoors, so weather never moves your appointment. If your session needs to happen at your office instead, reach out before booking so we can plan the setup.

Every two to three years is a reasonable guideline — sooner if your role, appearance, or industry has changed. Simple test: if someone met you right after seeing the photo, would it still feel accurate?

Every session includes complete direction, a same-day proof gallery, high-resolution files, and 8×10 casting crops sized for Actors Access, Casting Networks, and IMDb. Additional looks are $100 each; additional retouched images from your gallery are $50 each. Physical 8×10 prints can be ordered separately, any time.

A look is a casting direction, not a costume change — a shift in wardrobe, background, lighting, expression, and energy. A warm commercial read and a dramatic theatrical read are two looks. Swapping a blue shirt for a grey one isn't.

Before your session you'll get a short questionnaire on your experience, current headshots, representation, and the roles you're actually pursuing. We build your looks from those answers. If you're not sure what your casting lanes are yet, that's a completely normal place to start.

No. You should look polished, but still like the person who walks into the audition room. Keep makeup natural and hair at its current length and color — if you'd like professional hair and makeup for a specific reason, I can recommend someone.

A private proof gallery arrives the same day, so you can compare looks on your own time or send them to your agent. Retouched finals come back within 48 hours, ready for submission and print.

A brand session answers what you look like doing what you do, across a homepage, an About page, a speaker bio, and months of social content — which is why it runs longer, covers more outfits, and gets planned in advance. If all you need is a current headshot, the headshot session is the right call and costs less.

Depends on the job each image needs to do. Studio is cleaner and easier to control; on-location gives context — your office, a workspace, somewhere that says something about the work. Most Library and Story sessions use both, decided on your planning call.

Not required, but it makes a bigger difference here than for a single headshot since it has to hold up across several outfits and hours. I can recommend people I work with regularly. Most clients add it for a Library or Story session and skip it for a Refresh.
