About Draper Studios

  • My studio is in Downtown Denver, Colorado. I also shoot on location throughout the Denver metro — at offices, homes, outdoor spaces, and anywhere else that fits the session.

Actor Headshots

  • A good actor headshot shows casting directors exactly who you can play — not just what you look like. It needs to convey character, range, and authenticity. I build each session around your specific type and the roles you're going after, whether that's theatrical, commercial, film, or TV.

  • Most actors start with 2 looks, which gives you enough range to show versatility without overcomplicating it. If you're newer to the industry or just need a quick refresh, 1 look works fine. If you're building out a full casting range across multiple character types, 3 looks gives you real flexibility.

  • Bring 2–4 simple, solid-colored tops that reflect the roles you want to book. Avoid busy patterns, logos, bright whites, and anything too formal or too casual for your target roles. I'll help you choose what works best during the session.

  • I strongly recommend it for the most polished results. Professional hair and makeup creates subtle enhancements that look like you on your best day — not overdone. I can recommend trusted stylists if you need a referral.

  • Most sessions run between 45 minutes and 2 hours depending on how many looks you've booked. It's a relaxed pace — never rushed.

  • You'll receive a private proof gallery within 24 hours. Final retouched images are delivered after you make your selections, typically within a few days.

  • Natural, professional retouching — skin smoothing, minor blemish removal, color correction, and subtle enhancements. The goal is to make you look like yourself on a great day, not an airbrushed version of yourself. Casting directors need to recognize you in the room.

  • 1 Look — $425 (2 retouched images) 2 Looks — $595 (4 retouched images) 3 Looks — $795 (6 retouched images) Additional looks — $200 each. Additional retouched images — $75 each.

Portrait Sessions

  • Executives, founders, entrepreneurs, consultants, coaches, authors, musicians, artists, and creative professionals. Anyone who needs strong images for their website, LinkedIn, press, speaking engagements, book covers, or personal brand.

  • Actor headshots are specifically built for casting submissions — focused on character type and range. Portrait sessions are broader and serve professionals and creatives who need images for their brand, website, or public presence. Both include full direction throughout and are shot in studio or on location.

  • My studio is in Downtown Denver. I also shoot on location throughout the Denver metro — at your office, your home, outdoors, or anywhere that fits the story we're building. Studio and on location can also be combined into one session.

  • Portrait — $595 (1 hour, 1–2 looks, 3 retouched images) Extended Portrait — $950 (2 hours, multiple looks, 8–10 retouched images) Editorial — $1,500 (half day, multiple locations, 15–20 retouched images) On-Location sessions start at $650, with final pricing depending on scope.

  • LinkedIn profiles, company websites, press and media features, speaker bios, book covers, podcast artwork, social media, and personal branding campaigns.

  • The standard Portrait session is about an hour. The Extended Portrait is two hours. Editorial sessions are a half day. On-location timing varies based on scope.

  • Yes. While I'm based in Downtown Denver, I'm available for sessions and events throughout Colorado and beyond. Travel is available for the right projects.

  • Most of my clients say exactly that before we start. I guide you the entire time — on expression, posture, and direction — so you never have to figure it out yourself. The sessions are relaxed, collaborative, and honestly kind of fun. Most people are surprised by how comfortable they feel.
