Team Headshots · Denver

Team headshots that look consistent—not interchangeable.

Directed corporate headshots and team portraits for Denver companies. I photograph every person as an individual — and when the company needs them, the group, leadership and brand images your website, press and recruiting actually use.

Most people on your team won't be looking forward to this. That's normal. Knowing what to do in front of a camera is my job, not theirs.

The work doesn't change with the headcount. Only the schedule does.

Two ways to do this

Matching headshots, or a library the whole company can use.

Most companies need one of these two things. The difference isn't quality — it's how much of the company's visual identity comes out of a single session.

Option one

Essential Team Headshots

One standard, applied to everyone. Same background, same light, matched crops — with every person directed individually, so the set reads as consistent without making anyone look interchangeable.

  • An individual headshot for every person
  • One background, one lighting setup
  • Each person selects their own image before leaving
  • Delivered within 48 hours

Sessions start at $895.

Option two

Team Brand Session

The same headshots, plus the photographs a company actually uses through the year — group, founder and on-location images, all from one planned session.

  • Everything in Essential Team Headshots
  • Polished group portrait
  • Founder and leadership portraits
  • Relaxed branded and environmental images
  • Wardrobe variety

Sessions from $1,500.

Both sessions start the same way: tell me your team size, location and what the photographs need to accomplish. If the smaller option covers everything, that's the one I'll recommend.

One session

One team. Five different uses.

A company directory, an About page, a press request and a recruiting post don't need the same photograph. One planned session gave Myra a consistent set of individual headshots along with the founder, group and branded portraits the company can use throughout the year.

How it works

Planned before anyone steps in front of the camera.

Before the day

  • 1

We define what the photographs need to accomplish

Where the images will be used, who needs an individual portrait, and whether the company also needs polished, relaxed or environmental group images. This is the conversation that keeps you from paying for photographs nobody has a use for.

  • 2

    We choose the visual direction

Wardrobe, background, lighting, crop, and how formal the set should feel. Your team gets a short prep guide beforehand, so nobody is deciding what to wear that morning.

On the day

  • 3

I build the studio before anyone is needed

Your office or my studio downtown. For an on-site session I arrive early and have the lighting up before the first person is called, so nobody's workday stops while I set up.

  • 4

    Every person is individually directed

Nobody is expected to know how to pose. I direct posture, expression and the small adjustments that do most of the work, one person at a time. After being photographed, each person reviews the images and selects their preferred headshot before leaving — which is what prevents the reshoot request a week later.

The completed set is delivered within 48 hours

Naturally retouched, consistently colored and clearly named, in high-resolution and web-ready versions through a single download link.

Same direction. Different rooms.

A property management company photographed against the mural in their lobby. A moving crew photographed at their truck and on the job. Two companies that look nothing alike, photographed the same way — planned first, directed throughout.

What it costs

Quoted for your team, not read off a chart.

Essential Team Headshots start at $895. A Team Brand Session starts at $1,500. Four things move the number from there.

How many people

Every person who needs an individual portrait. Larger teams are welcome — a company-wide headshot day or a station at your conference is scheduled the same way, just across more hours.

How many setups

One background and one light, or several looks: a wardrobe change, a second background, a formal and a relaxed version of the same person.

Group photographs

A polished team portrait, leadership pairs, a relaxed branded image. Each one is lit and staged separately from the individual headshots.

Where we shoot

My studio downtown, your office anywhere in the Denver metro, or an outdoor location nearby. Travel beyond the metro is quoted with the session.

Send your team size, your date and where you are. You'll get one fixed number back — not a range, and not a number that moves after the session.

Practical details

The things whoever organizes this needs to know.

Who photographs
Me, at every session. The person you plan this with is the person photographing your team.
On location
My studio in downtown Denver, or your office anywhere in the metro. For individual headshots I need about ten feet by ten feet and one standard outlet — a conference room or an unused corner works. Group photographs need more space, and we'll settle that when we plan the day.
Scheduling
Built around the number of people and the photographs being made. Group and leadership portraits get their own time beyond the individual headshots.
Already have headshots?
Send me what you have. I can match the lighting, background and crop so new people fit naturally into the lineup you've already built.
New hires
I keep the lighting, background and crop notes from your session, so anyone who joins later can be matched to the original set.
Insurance
Fully insured. Certificate of insurance available on request, same day.
Delivery
High-resolution and web-ready files, consistently colored and clearly named, in one download gallery. Most team sessions are delivered within 48 hours; company-wide assignments get a delivery schedule with the quote.

Reviews

What the person organizing it notices.

The photographs matter. So does clear communication, a setup that doesn't take over the office, and knowing that every person on the team will actually be directed.

“Our firm hired Matt (twice) to shoot our staff photos for our corporate website—he did phenomenal work! Matt was on time and very professional with everyone. He made sure all our members felt comfortable during the shoot and also made sure everyone was satisfied with their pictures. We're glad we found him—Matt's our guy.”

Elvin M.Law firm

“We hired Matt for our team headshots and group shots. He was professional, warm, and has a great location for a variety of settings. He was a dream to work with and we got our photos back the next day. Not sure if that's typical, but that was our experience. Highly recommend!”

Sierrah P.Myra

“We had a great experience using Draper Studios for our company headshots. Matt was incredibly responsive, accommodated us at the last minute, and arrived right on time. He made the entire process quick, efficient, and easy. We also received the edited photos within two days, which was an amazing turnaround. I highly recommend Matt and Draper Studios!”

Questions

What companies ask before they book.

Is there a team size that's too small — or too large?

Neither. A founder and two employees is a real session, and so is a company-wide headshot day or a station at your conference. What changes with headcount is the schedule, not the way any one person is photographed.

Can we combine individual headshots and group portraits?

Yes. Essential Team Headshots is built around consistent individual portraits. A Team Brand Session adds polished group photographs, founder and leadership portraits, and a more relaxed or branded team look. We decide what's actually useful before the session rather than improvising on the day.

Should we come to the studio, or can you come to us?

Either. For on-site headshots I bring the full studio to your office and build it before anyone is needed. In my downtown Denver studio you get more background and lighting options, and nobody has to clear a conference room.

What should everyone wear?

Your team gets a short prep guide before the session — what photographs well, what to avoid, and how much to match if you want the set to feel unified. Nobody should be deciding this the morning of.

How much time should we reserve?

It depends on how many people and how many photographs. You'll get an exact schedule with the quote, built around your day rather than mine — and for larger groups we'll stagger departments so nobody is standing in a queue.

What happens when we hire someone new?

I keep the lighting, background and crop notes from your session, so anyone photographed later drops into the existing set. If you already have company headshots from another photographer, send me what you have and I can match those instead.
