Actors: This Is What Casting Wants to See

Show casting who you can actually play.

For actors ready to stand out.

Denver Studio • Proofs in 24 Hours • Limited Sessions

A woman with long dark hair wearing a bright blue blouse, looking directly at the camera with a neutral expression, against a dark background.

One session. Multiple characters.

Built around real character types—not just a single look.

A focused session—built around who you can play

We start by identifying the types you naturally fit—then build each look around them.

I’ll guide you through expression and subtle shifts so nothing feels forced or overdone.

The goal isn’t to pose you—it’s to bring out something real and make it believable on camera.

  • 1–4 looks depending on your session

  • Direction based on real character types

  • Natural, cinematic lighting

  • Fast turnaround for casting submissions

You don’t need to know how to do this—that’s my job.

FAQs

Where do you shoot?

1

Sessions take place in my Denver studio or on location depending on the look you're going for. Studio sessions offer controlled, cinematic lighting. On-location sessions add environment and context — both work well for different casting types. We'll figure out what's right for you before we shoot.

Do I need hair and makeup?

2

Many actors are completely comfortable doing their own hair and makeup — and for a natural, authentic look, that often works beautifully. If you'd prefer extra support, I work with a trusted roster of Denver hair and makeup artists who specialize in camera-ready prep. I'm happy to make a referral when you book. Either way, I'll send preparation tips when you schedule so you know exactly how to show up camera-ready.

When will I get my images?

3

Your proof gallery is typically delivered the same day as your session so you can start reviewing immediately — or share it with your agent. Final retouched images are delivered within 48 hours of your selections.

How do I choose my finals?

4

That's entirely up to you. After your session you'll receive a private proof gallery with all your images to review at your own pace. You can choose your favorites yourself, share the gallery with your agent or manager for their input, or ask me for suggestions — I'm happy to weigh in if that's helpful.

What should I wear?

4

When you book you'll receive a detailed PDF guide covering wardrobe, colors, and what to avoid on camera. My general advice: bring more options than you think you need, and bring a backup or two if you want feedback in person. We'll look at everything together before we start shooting.

How much retouching do you do?

4

My approach is natural and intentional. I remove temporary distractions — blemishes, stray hairs, minor skin issues — but I don't alter your features or make you look like a different person. Casting directors want to see you when you walk in the room. Your headshot should match that.

Your next role starts with the right image.

Limited sessions available each week.
